Description
This course introduces participants to the topic of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in an educational environment. This course will equip participants with the knowledge to integrate these tools confidently and responsibly into their classroom by exploring foundational AI concepts, technical and ethical considerations, and practical classroom applications. Upon completion, participants will be able to define commonly used terms relating to GenAI, identify common GenAI tools used in the school environment, define what it means to be a responsible digital citizen, identify and mitigate risks, biases, and misinformation associated with AI, and recall how to design and develop a GenAI toolkit.
