This on-line course offers Canadian Democratic Institutions the tools and knowledge needed to make educated decisions about securing their IT infrastructure. It also provides an overview of the threat landscape relevant to Canada’s democratic process and introduces mitigation activities to protect election events. Given that the democratic institutions workforce is largely transient and volunteer based in nature, it will also help them to become more knowledgeable on cyber security Cyber securityThe protection of digital information, as well as the integrity of the infrastructure housing and transmitting digital information.
