[Control systems] SIEMENS security advisory

On 9 June 2020 Siemens released security updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in Siemens products, including:

  • Siemens Windows-based Industrial Software Applications
  • Multiple SIMATIC Software
  • SIEMENS LOGO!
  • SINUMERIK

Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities may allow for local privilege escalation, remote code execution, denial of service, access to and altering of device configuration and unintended information disclosure.

The Cyber Centre encourages users and administrators to review the following, perform the suggested mitigations and apply the necessary manufacturer updates when available:
