We have recently been made aware of suspicious automated telephone calls being made to Canadian businesses claiming to be from the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security.
Please be aware that the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security does not engage in automated telephone calls to Canadian businesses and/or citizens.
You can contact the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications (CRTC) and file a complaint; or, depending on the nature of the message, you should report any deceptive telemarketing to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre online or by calling 1-888-495-8501.
