The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (Cyber Centre) provides advice and guidance to protect Canadian information infrastructures and improve Canada’s cyber resiliency—this includes Canadian small and medium organizations. Below we link Cyber Centre and Government of Canada (GC) resources that your organization can use to educate employees, as well as prevent, detect, respond, and recover from cyber incidents. The publication includes a diagram of a circle that is sectioned off into four quarters with the following headers:

  • Educate (top left)
  • Prevent (top right)
  • Detect (bottom right)
  • Respond and Recover (bottom left).

From each of these quarters, there is an arrow that points to links to Cyber Centre and Government of Canada resources that your organization can use to educate employees, as well as prevent, detect, respond, and recover from cyber incidents.

Report cyber incidents to the Cyber Centre through My Cyber Portal. Report scams, fraud, or cybercrime to local police and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre Online Reporting System.
