Purpose

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to a security advisory released by Fortinet.

Assessment

Fortinet has released a product update for FortiWLC which addresses a Hardcoded credential critical vulnerability.

Affected Product:

  • FortiWLC 7.0.11 and lower in the 7.x branch
  • FortiWLC 8.3.3 and lower in the 8.x branch

Suggested Action

CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor released updates on affected platforms accordingly.
