On 18 March 2021 Hitachi ABB Power Grids published an advisory to address a vulnerability in the following product:
- Ellipse APM - version 5.3.0.1 and prior
- Ellipse APM – version 5.2.0.3 and prior
- Ellipse APM – version 5.1.0.6 and prior
Exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an authenticated actor or integrated application to inject malicious data into the application that could then be executed in a user’s browser.
The Cyber Centre encourages users and administrators to review the provided web links, perform the suggested mitigations and apply the necessary updates.
