Apple security updates for OS X, Safari, iOS

Purpose

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to Apple operating system updates for OS X, Safari and iOS.

Assessment

Apple has released the following support articles:

  • HT205730 – Safari 9.0.3
  • HT205731 - OS X
  • HT205732 - iOS 9.2.1

Details: These updates address multiple vulnerabilities that could allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands.

Suggested Action

CCIRC recommends that owner/operators test and deploy the vendor released updates or workarounds to affected platforms referred to in Apple Support Articles; HT205730, HT205731 and HT205732.
