Adobe security bulletin

Purpose

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to a security bulletin for Adobe Flash Player.

Assessment

Adobe has released the following security update, APSB17-32 to resolve a critical vulnerability in Adobe Flash Player.

Affected Software:

  • Adobe Flash Player Desktop Runtime 27.0.0.159 for Windows and Macintosh
  • Adobe Flash Player for Google Chrome 27.0.0.159 on Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Chrome OS
  • Adobe Flash Player for Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11 27.0.0.130 on Windows 10 and 8.1
  • Adobe Flash Player Desktop Runtime 27.0.0.159 for Linux

Suggested Action

CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor-released updates to affected applications accordingly.
