Sudo security advisory

On 26 January 2021 Sudo released an Alert to address a vulnerability in the following:

  • Sudo – versions 1.8.2 through 1.8.31p2 and 1.9.0 through 1.9.5p1

Exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an actor to elevate privileges on an affected system.

It has recently been reported that Linux, macOS, AIX, and Solaris may also be vulnerable. The Cyber Centre encourages users and administrators to review the following web link and apply the necessary update.
