Microsoft security advisory

On 16 July 2019 Microsoft released a security update to address a vulnerability VulnerabilityA flaw or weakness in the design or implementation of an information system or its environment that could be exploited to adversely affect an organization's assets or operations. which could allow an actor to bypass a security feature in the Windows Defender Application Control. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could circumvent PowerShell Core Constrained Language Mode on the affected system.

This vulnerability affects PowerShell Core 6.0 and PowerShell Core versions prior to 6.1.5 and 6.2.2.
